HOUSTON – A man allegedly shot his son and his next-door neighbor during an argument with his wife Friday night.
According to police, a husband and wife were arguing at the Miami Gardens apartments on Kempwood Drive at Campbell Road around 11:40 p.m. when the husband left the unit and came back with a gun. He reportedly fired several rounds and shot his 18-year-old son when the teen tried to protect his mother.
A stray bullet also went through the wall into the apartment next door and hit a man who was sleeping there.
Both victims were taken to Ben Taub Hospital.
The shooter left the scene on foot.
