New two story H-E-B now open

HOUSTON –  A brand new H-E-B store has opened in San Antonio and it has a lot of people excited because it's two stories.

The store which opened Friday, is the only two story grocery store in Texas.

Now since it is two stories, special equipment has to be used to get shopping carts from the bottom floor up to the top.  It's called a travelator and basically it's an escalator with magnetic strips that hold the grocery carts in place as they move up.

H-E-B has not forgotten about Houston. A brand new store is opening on San Felipe near Voss any day now.

The cool feature it has will be a restaurant inside.  It's not a deli, but an actual sit down restaurant where you order from a menu.
