TEXAS CITY, Texas – A suspect wanted for a shooting and home invasion in Texas City was in jail Friday.
Authorities arrested Devane Salters Wednesday after officers confronted him at the Mainland Apartment Complex off the Emmett F. Lowry Expressway.

He was wanted on charges of burglary and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Salters broke into a man's home in Texas City Sunday and shot him in the face, police said.
The victim is expected to survive.
