Saturday's weather webcast

HOUSTON – Cooler air is invading throughout Southwest Texas on Friday lows will feel much cooler than what we've seen over most of the work week. Tonight, clouds will continue to move back in overnight, however the rain that is coming won't be here with the clouds tonight, but it is on the way. Lows tonight will fall into the upper 40s.

A storm system moving out the southwest will move into Texas on Saturday, but we're not expecting a lot of rain from it, with chances increasing to about 30 percent late Saturday night. Highs will again be on the cool side, in the low 60s overall.

The real impact from the storm will unfortunately be on Super Bowl Sunday, so expect a showery day with light rain likely on and off through most of the day. We're not thinking any of the rain will be very heavy. Think of it more as an annoying rain that will will just be with us for most of the day. Highs will be a tad warmer back into the upper 60s but it will stay cloudy most of the day. Cooler still early on next week with highs struggling to get into the mid to upper 50s. Even through Monday will start dry, it'll barely be in the 50s! Another small chance for some showers on Tuesday however, don't expect a warm up anytime soon, we'll hang onto those chilly temperatures most of next week.
