Investigators said the children's mother recently passed away. Their father was given sole custody of them, but Miller refused to return them to him after they went to her home for a Christmas visit.

While court proceedings were being finalized, Miller took off with the children, investigators said. Felony kidnapping warrants have been issued for Miller's arrest.

Jordan is a boy, black, 1 feet 6 inches tall, and 20 pounds with black hair and black eyes.

Nevaen is a girl, black, 3 feet tall and 35 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a light-colored jacket, a pink or red shirt and black pants.

Miller is black, 48 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 183 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

The three are believed to be traveling in a gray, four-door 2005 Honda Accord with Texas license plate No. CYX069. The car has tinted windows and a rear spoiler.

Investigators said Miller was last heard from in Kennard, Texas, which is about 30 miles east of Lufkin, Texas. She has friends in Houston and relatives in Garland, Texas, officials said.
