ELLIS COUNTY – The Amber Alert for a 16-year-old North Texas girl has been cancelled.
The Ellis County Sheriff's Office issued the alert for Inez Ramirez Tuesday morning.

Authorities were are also searching for Edger Barton, 23, in connection to Ramirez's abduction.
According to KXAS-TV, the Amber Alert was cancelled later Tuesday morning.
Officials said the alert should have never been issued because Ramirez left willingly. An investigation into why the alert was issued is now underway, KXAS reported.
Red Oak is located about 20 miles south of Dallas.
