FBI seeking info on men who robbed bank at CityCentre

HOUSTON – The FBI released photos of two men who robbed the Amegy Bank on 800 Town and Country Blvd. Saturday around 11:17 a.m.

Authorities say two armed men entered the bank wielding semi-automatic handguns. Investigators say one of the men held customers, and employees at gunpoint as the other hopped over the counter and took an unspecified amount of money.

The FBI describes the first armed robber as a black man who was wearing a red mask with eye and mouth openings. He was wearing a dark zip-up Polo hoodie and black pants.

The second armed robber is described as a black man who is about 6 feet tall. Authorities say he had a tall, and athletic build and covered the lower half of his face with a white mask that appeared to be a cut up white T-shirt. He was wearing a dark zip-up Polo hoodie, black pants, sneakers with white soles and was carrying a red canvas shopping bag with white writing on it.

Officials say a third man involved in the robbery was driving a gray 2007 to 2010 Chevrolet Impala with black rim tires, limo tint on its side, and rear windows and paper covering the license plates.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for any information that leads to the identification and arrest of the robbers. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477) or the Houston FBI office at 713-693-5000.
