Richard Gomez and Michael Mire are in Arizona at the request of the International Association of Fire Fighters and grieving Arizona firefighters.

"Honoring our fallen is a proud tradition in the fire service. For generations, firefighters have honored our commitment to never forget fallen brothers and sisters. Our memorial service in Houston just a month ago included firefighters from across the United States, Canada and beyond. Houston firefighters are gratefully sending representatives to Arizona to help as so many others let us lean on them recently," said HPFFA President Jeff Caynon.

The public memorial service for the Arizona firefighters will be held Tuesday, in Prescott Valley, Arizona.
