HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – One person was killed and another was injured Saturday night after a fire broke out at a house in the 19800 block of Lions Gate Court at 9:48 p.m.
Fire officials said when crews arrived they searched for victims in the single-story home. They were able to pull two people from the house.

Both victims were taken to an area hospital. A man died from his injuries and a woman is being treated.
Capt. Dean Hensley said the cause of fire is being investigated.
