HOUSTON – After months of hard work, a local family officially became homeowners on Tuesday.
KPRC Local 2 teamed up with Star Furniture and Houston Habitat for Humanity to start building the house for the family of five back in January.
On Tuesday, we welcomed Kimberly Hudson and her four children to their new home with a big unveiling and ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Local 2 anchor Bill Balleza built a coffee table for the Hudson family, and Star Furniture delivered living room furniture as well as brand new beds for the Hudson children.
And Local 2 is proud to announce that we will be partnering with Houston Habitat for Humanity to build another home for another deserving local family next year!
