February was toasty with 20 days of above-average highs and we’re starting March with patchy fog this morning, then a sunny day with an above-average high of 80!
So what can we expect in March? After a toasty February? For the next 5 days, we’re tracking above average highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s.
And we can’t forget that clocks spring forward on March 8th, meaning we lose an hour of sleep.
According to American Heart Association, heart attacks increase by 24% on the Monday after the time change from a Michigan hospital study.
That’s why it’s important to start preparing for the time change now:
- Gradually shift your bedtime 15–30 minutes earlier each night
- Get more morning sunlight to help reset your internal clock,
- And skip the late-night coffee.
