Sunday’s Forecast:

We’re watching for a chance of rain and thunderstorms (for some not all) moving east to west starting in the afternoon and last through sunset.

Hit and miss showers and isolated storm chances

Sunday Houston wakes up to the 70s and highs in the 90s.

Hit and miss showers possible throughout the evening

Tropical outlook:

A tropical wave between Africa’s west coast and the Cabo Verde Islands is producing thunderstorms. There’s a potential for a tropical depression by mid-next week.

Nothing to worry about now, but some long-range models are looking to spin up a weak open low-pressure system by the end of the week. We’ll keep a watch on it.

A medium chance for the tropical wave off the coast of Africa to develop
