Tonight’s forecast:
Much of the same as we head into the evening. Tonight will be Deja vu for most: clear skies and slightly cooler temperatures upon waking up.
Our morning lows will be in the lower 60s, so you might want to send the kiddos to the bus stop with a light hoodie.
This will be the most relief we’ll get from the early summer-like temperatures heading into the third week in April.

Monday’s forecast:
Don’t be fooled by the slightly cooler start, we’ll see temperatures soar quickly after sunrise. We’re still under a big dome of upper-level high pressure, and that means we’ll see mostly cloud-free skies and very warm temperatures. Break out the sunnies and sunscreen!
By peak heat of the day, we will be right around 88° yet again. We’ll be close to record-tying temperatures - the record high temperature is 89° set back in 1996.
For the record, our average high for April 14th is only at 80°.
Tracking the next front:
A very weak “cool” front will slide through Texas Monday into Tuesday. You won’t even notice it besides the wind change for a small portion of Tuesday - temperatures will still be well above average.
Your 10-day forecast:
We continue to be stuck under high pressure for most of the week. A constant southerly wind will pump in the humidity from the Gulf. Hello, frizz! An early look at Easter weekend looks to be still very warm and a little cloudier. It’s still early - but we’re watching for the potential of our next system to move through during the holiday weekend.
