The breeze is back ahead of Houston’s next cold front

Tonight’s forecast:

HOUSTON – Another wonderful evening for those headed to the Rodeo. Temperatures remain mild as breezy southerly winds gust through the afternoon and evening.

Tuesday’s forecast:

Tuesday winds shift out of the SE as high pressure moves to the east of Texas. The onshore flow will increase moisture in the atmosphere, but not enough to limit fire risk.

Tuesday SE Texas will have high to very high fire danger level as winds gust over 25 mph.

Next Cold Front:

The next chance of rain arrives Wednesday along a cold front. Right now, the chance of rain for SE Texas is around 20% for some spotty showers in the morning hours.

For the start of spring, we will be back to a very comfy start in the low 70s, slowly warming as we get into the weekend.
