Going out to celebrate Valentine’s Day with that special someone? Or maybe you want to go out with your gal pals for some Galentine’s Day fun!
Either way, the weather for Houston in February has been a roller coaster - to say the least. We don’t expect to see 80° on the day of love, but here’s what you can expect:
Valentine’s Day Forecast:
If you plan on going out for dinner on Friday, you may want to bring that jacket with you. A cold front moving through the area on Wednesday morning will keep temperatures chilly as we get through the back half of the week.
Friday specifically, will only get up into the lower 60s during the peak heat of the day. Temperatures start taking a tumble once the sun sets.
There is an isolated risk for some showers during the afternoon and early evening hours.
Valentine’s Weekend Forecast:
If you aren’t able to celebrate on Valentine’s Day, Saturday unfortunately does not look to be any better.
Rain chances stick with us throughout the day, and we warm up more than 10° by the afternoon as compared to Friday. A cold front comes swinging in during the afternoon and evening hours.
A big rush of cold air returns for Sunday, as the temperature roller coaster continues.
