Rain and lower temperatures return next week

Saturday’s Forecast:

For the first time since Monday Houston did not tie or set a record high. While it will be incredibly warm and humid this weekend, we will fall short of records. Temperatures climb to the mid-80s under partly to mostly cloudy skies. We’ll also start the days with fog, especially along the coast.

Sunday’s forecast:

A front will slowly edge into southeast Texas but not before we climb to 82°. By the evening temperatures lower and our northern cities will start the day on Monday in the 40s and 50s. This front will bring a small chance of rain Monday and take us out of the 80s.

10 Day Forecast:

As temperatures lower, the rain makes a return. And it’s chilly Thursday with highs in the 50s! After Sunday there are no 80s on the rest of the 10-day forecast.
