Houston-area forecast: Cold start to a mild and sunny Sunday

Another cold start for much of the region Sunday with mid to upper 30s, below the norms for this time of the year. The upside is that with wind from the south through the day we’ll see a warm up into the mid 60s along with plenty of sunshine!

We’ll see plenty of sunshine today, Monday and much of Tuesday ahead of another front on Wednesday which will bring us the first rain chances of the week. Temperatures ahead of the front will be in the low 70s and will fall back into the 60s by Thursday.

The ten day forecast shows a comfortable week ahead with rain chances on Wednesday and next weekend.
