Quiet Saturday evening expected after storms

HOUSTON – Sunday weather will be a mixed bag of good and not so good with plenty of sunshine by this afternoon but the wind and colder temperatures may make it a challenge to start your day.

Sustained winds of 15 to 25mph have been reported this morning with gusts 25 to 35mph.

Temperatures have dropped overnight into the upper 40s for much of the region which means a brisk start for your Sunday.

The winds will relax later this afternoon and the morning clouds will give way to abundant sunshine and highs in the upper 60s and low 70s, well below the normal average high for this time of the year of 79 degrees.

We’ll have another cool start for your Monday before the highs head back toward the upper 70s and then 80s by Tuesday with sunny and mostly sunny skies ahead of our next rain which will be Wednesday afternoon into Thursday at noon when we could see strong storms.

That is the only rain expected for the week which means Good Friday and Easter Sunday  look splendid at this time with lows in the 50s and highs in the mid -70s on Good Friday and low 80s on Easter Sunday.

Enjoy
