HOUSTON – Houston is waking up to rain and slick roads so drivers will need to allow for extra time and take it slow Tuesday.
The rain will move out by 9 a.m. and skies will finally start to clear after days of dreary weather.
Sunshine will be taking over Tuesday. Temperatures will be cooler behind the cold front, dropping to the mid-50s by 9 a.m. only warming to the low 60s Tuesday afternoon.
With clear skies, temperatures will drop tonight cooling to the upper 30s to low 40s for Wednesday morning.
After chilly Wednesday morning, temperatures will start to warm up.
Temperatures in the mid-60s are expected for Wednesday afternoon and will be back to the 70s by Thursday.
