Fabulous Friday kicks off warm weekend in Houston

HOUSTON – After a cool start to the day, Friday will see temperatures climb into the 80s by the afternoon.

KPRC2 meteorologist Britta Merwin said clouds will build in the afternoon, but rain won’t be a problem.

Both Saturday and Sunday are forecast to be mostly cloudy, with temperatures climbing into the low 80s both days. 

Humidity will also increase during the weekend, but the rain will hold off until early next week.
