Cool start Friday, sunny afternoon

HOUSTON – Friday begins cool with temperatures in the mid-40s, but will warm up to a high of 74 degrees.

The warming trend continues Saturday as we head into the 80s.

A front that is expected to push through the area brings a 20 percent chance of showers after midnight, and a 30 percent chance of showers Saturday.

Showers are expected to clear out by Saturday night and into Sunday when the high will be 70.

Don't forget to set those clocks forward by one hour before you go to bed Saturday night.
