Expect a Hot and Humid Afternoon

Warm and humid start with slight chances of afternoon showers and an isolated thunderstorm. Highs mostly in the mid 90s with some 97-98’s possible.

No heat advisories for Southeast Texas but the humidity will still make the feels like temps feel like the low 100s which means drinking lots of water will be required.

The showers in the Gulf are close enough to increase the afternoon shower chances a bit with higher on Sunday toward a 50-60% chance on Monday.

Chances go down after Tuesday but will not go away all week with heat of the day expected to trigger afternoon isolated downpours into next weekend.
