HOUSTON – Cold start in the 40s for much of Southeast Texas as we head toward a sunny day with a breezy north wind in place all day.
Red Flag warning from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday as those north winds are expected to gust higher than 25 mph at times with very dry humidity. The wind increases the chances of grass fires during this time.
Expect highs to reach only the lower 60s, this after the 81 degrees on Friday.
Monday morning temperatures are even colder as many send the kids back to school. Upper 30s are expected in many areas with a warm up to the mid-60s Monday.
Our next rain chances are Thursday when the next front moves through. Good Friday and Easter conditions look good for now. Some computer models want to bring in 20 percent rain chances for Easter but they are inconsistent so will leave dry for now.
Enjoy this first Sunday of Spring!
