HOUSTON – It will be a mild and muggy Saturday with a slight chance of rain.
Winds will continue to pump in warm, moist air from the Gulf of Mexico.
With that, you will need to keep your umbrellas handy. It will be mostly cloudy today with a 20 percent chance of rain.
Relative humidity will remain high Saturday only dropping to 70 percent this afternoon.
Highs will be warmer than average in the lower to middle 70s. Houston will hit about 74 degrees.
Coastal cities will not be as warm but still mild. Galveston's high is 66 degrees for this afternoon.
Tonight, especially after midnight, we have a chance of rain. Overnight chances jump to 40 percent.
Another front arrives Sunday giving us a chance of rain and isolated thunderstorms.
The front will cool us down with a high of 61 degrees in Houston hitting by midday!
So if you still have some shopping to do before the big game Sunday, you may want to get it down today while it is a decent day.
