Summer sizzle is on!

Little chance for rain relief through the weekend

No description found

HOUSTON – On the heels of flooding rain north of Houston on Tuesday, we're settling into a more even, uneventful weather pattern for the week ahead.

The main characteristic of the weather regime we'll be enjoying includes the heat and humidity that Houston is famous for during the summer months.

Look for highs in the low to mid 90s each day with only about a 20 percent chance for showers and thunderstorms that could develop along a sea breeze during the hottest part of the afternoon.

As the weekend approaches, then, don't look for much of a problem if you're planning something outdoors to celebrate Father's Day.  Any rain showers will be isolated, so just keep an eye to the sky.
