♥️⛈️Mother’s Day Weekend Storms

♥️⛈️Mother’s Day Weekend Storms: Hail in Katy, at what looks to be someone’s 64th birthday. More hail made a splash in Shawn Katz’s swimming pool on Fry and I-10, according to our Click2 pins last night. As we track another severe weather day for Mother’s Day — rain for a select few around dinner time and a front pushing through overnight while you’re sleeping. So I hope you enjoy your day ahead of our front! Our severe weather risk: Enhanced: 3 out of 5: Northern Brazos Valley Slight: 2 out of 5: Generally north of I-10 Marginal: 1 out of 5: South of I-10 Depending on how the front develops and the atmosphere evolves will determine the intensity of the storms, and that’s what we will be tracking tonight. Here is the timing of the front: Timing can change, but this at least gives you an idea of how to plan your day. - 5 PM: Dry for most, but tracking a few isolated cells to the east between Beaumont and The Woodlands. - 8 PM:Scattered storms for a select few areas. -11 PM: Columbus, Brenham, College Station - Monday 3 am: The Woodlands, Bush, Houston, Sugar Land, down to El Campo - Monday 5 am: Pushing off to the coast before the 6 am commute. Damaging winds, hail, and thunderstorms are possible again — for some, not all. Our rain totals are expected at 0.10–0.25” however, some cells are capable of producing more rain. So again — it’s about rain for some, not all. Just like yesterday: Rainfall Totals for the past 24 hours (as of 6 AM): - Liberty: 1.35” - Katy: 1.61” - Conroe: 0.57” While other places stayed dry. Have our app? Once I get a minute to myself, I’ll sit down and write an update on today’s severe weather threat and send it to you. Wishing you the very best day today, whether you’re off or working like me today - please know if you’re part of this community, you’re seen. It will always be my commitment to you. Daji will have a close eye on the radar tonight. ♥️ Brittany
