Bryce Newberry reported this morning, an estimated 60,000 fans are expected at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo tonight for Pepe Aguilars performance on Go Tejano Day —it’s set to be a packed house! Not to mention, last year’s Go Tejano Day was one of the highest-attended days ever, drawing 70,775 paid attendees, according to the rodeo’s website. ⛈️Tonight’s Weather Risk: We’re tracking a severe weather risk of 2 out of 5 in areas like Livingston and Liberty, with the rest of our viewing area at 1 out of a 5. 💨Tonight’s front is tracking as fast-moving and expected to move in between 7-10 pm, with wind gusts reaching the 40–45 mph range in some spots—that’s why a Wind Advisory is in effect now. 🧯🚒The shift from southerly to northerly winds is also crashing our relative humidity, which raises the fire risk heading into the work week. 🏖️❌🥶And let’s talk temps: From spring break-like 80s today to feels-like morning lows in the 30s and 40s tomorrow—brrr!
