Houston weather: Rain and storm chances increase as high pressure shifts

The bulk of the wet weather is expected to stay isolated and should not result in a washout for any plans. By Monday, however, rain chances jump to about 30 to 40 percent, with the potential for more widespread storms. By Tuesday, the forecast ups the chances to around 60 percent, and those higher rain odds could linger into the middle of the week.
