3 remain hospitalized after Houston man, barely clothed, shoots into vehicles

UPDATE: The three people shot Friday morning in northeast Houston remain hospitalized, including a mother and her young daughter. They were previously reported to be in stable condition. Video shows the suspect wearing sheer undergarment, while carrying a rifle. Police say the man opened fire on multiple vehicles near North Wayside Drive. Witnesses reported seeing him firing from the median before he retreated toward a nearby home. When officers confronted him, police say he refused orders to drop the rifle. Three HPD officers and a DPS trooper then opened fire, striking the suspect multiple times. He was taken to a hospital, and his condition has not been released. The investigation remains ongoing.
