Local rescue saves 27 dogs from Harris County shelter

The Houston-based animal rescue, Scout’s Honor, marked its 20th anniversary last week by saving the lives of more than two dozen dogs at Harris County Pets, the county’s public animal shelter. Many of the dogs had just a day or two left before being euthanized for space.
