Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo speaks after returning to NRG Stadium amid rodeo feud

Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo left NRG Stadium after coming to review surveillance video of the incident that resulted in her removal from the Megan Moroney concert earlier this week. She told reporters the video didn’t clearly show what happened when she was engaged with Rodeo security but she could see her guests. She also didn’t see any footage from the county suite. She added that the Rodeo should take measures to have better security cameras in the chute area for public safety reasons. “We’ve done all we can do,” the judge said, appreciating those who have called for transparency. She would not answer KPRC 2's question about whether this has caused a distraction from the Rodeo and for Harris County residents. Law enforcement escorted her to a black SUV before her exit.
