Sugar Land plastic surgeon indicted, accused of performing surgery while intoxicated

A Sugar Land plastic surgeon has been indicted for allegedly performing surgery while intoxicated, according to the Sugar Land Police Department. Dr. Azul Shirazali Jaffer, 50, is charged with performing surgery while intoxicated, a felony offense. He reportedly performed the surgery on Aug. 12 while intoxicated.
