Home invasion turns deadly after masked-men break down door at apartment complex near River Oaks

Two men were killed during an home invasion at an apartment complex near River Oaks after the resident fired several shots at them, according to the Houston Police Department. Police initially responded to a burglary in progress around 10:45 a.m. at The Gael Apartments. Investigators are now calling this a deadly home invasion.
