Mayor John Whitmire reacts to Gov. Greg Abbott's crime task force

Mayor Whitmire says Governor Abbott reached out to him about the violent crime task force last week. He says crime has been down since he took office, but he’s looking forward to the resources from the state to help keep Houston safe.
