Midwife Maria Rojas Appears in Waller County Court on Illegal Abortion Indictment

 Maria Rojas, the midwife indicted on illegal abortion charges, appeared today before a Waller County judge. Prosecutors say they have turned over roughly one‑third of discovery materials to the defense.
