Houston Parents Protest Concrete Plant Near School Over Health Concerns

This morning, Houston parents gathered at the TX-DOT regional office to protest a concrete batch plant located near Awty International School and its early learning center in the Spring Branch area. Parents are deeply concerned about dust from the plant, which they fear could cause asthma, lung disease, and even cancer in their children.
