New Galveston program gives free A/C units to seniors and families in need

A life-changing pilot program is bringing relief to Galveston residents battling the summer heat. “Project FATCAT” is a new initiative by Build Galveston and the CenterPoint Energy Foundation to install free A/C units for those who need it most — including seniors, people with disabilities, and low-income families.
