Investigation Underway After 2 Year Old Drowns In Katy Retention Pond

An investigation is underway after a 2-year-old drowned in a retention pond in Katy. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office says the toddler’s death was determined accidental after the child wandered away from home. The child was found unresponsive last night in a pond on Balzano Court.
