Officials invite Harris County residents to participate in meetings evaluating flooding

Officials in Harris County are encouraging the public to participate in discussions and studies in the aftermath of the Hill Country floods. There will be a series of public scoping meetings this summer hosted by the Harris County Flood Control District for the Solutions for Advancing Floodplain Evaluation and Resilience Study, known as the SAFER Study.
