CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Montgomery County Sheriff Stops Road Rage Shooting on FM 1488 in Magnolia
A road rage incident in Montgomery County could have turned deadly if not for the quick response of Montgomery County Sheriff Wesley Doolittle. According to Magnolia Police, officers were dispatched to a physical disturbance along FM 1488. The incident began when two drivers stopped in the middle of the roadway near FM 1774. One of the men allegedly got out of his vehicle and started a physical altercation with the other driver. When the fight didn’t go his way, police say the suspect pulled out a gun and threatened the victim. That’s when Sheriff Doolittle happened to drive up on the scene. The sheriff quickly intervened and defused the situation without incident.
