Fiery crash on Katy Freeway leaves 2 dead, westbound lanes closed

A fiery two-vehicle crash early Friday morning inside the 610 West Loop has left two people dead, including a juvenile girl, and shut down all westbound lanes of the Katy Freeway. Houston Police are investigating the incident, which involved a stationary TxDOT truck. Drivers are urged to use alternate routes as traffic is being diverted at Washington Avenue.
