Investigation opened into company who runs Conroe Animal Shelter after puppy chews off injured leg

The dog, who arrived at the Conroe Animal Shelter on Sunday, July 7, with a severely mangled leg, was treated with what the shelter calls “over the counter” pain medications and was never given an E-collar to keep him from further aggravating the injury.
