Fallen Harris Co. Deputy Darren Almendarez honored with memorial highway

Deputy Almendarez was killed in 2022 after confronting catalytic converter thieves trying to steal from his truck. A memorial highway in his honor was unveiled on Hwy 59 between Little York and Beltway 8.
