Homeowner Fires at Armed Would-Be Intruders Who Said They Were Police Police in Auburn, Washington, released footage described as showing the moment in the early hours of October 19 when a homeowner shot at a number of would-be intruders who had identified themselves as police officers. In the footage, three people armed with guns may be seen approaching the door of a house. One identifies himself as “Seattle Police.” The three attempt to break down the door of the house by kicking and shouldering it. The sound of gunfire is heard and a screen door shatters. The three, who did not discharge their weapons, then run away. Police appealed for information from anyone who could identify the three people.
