Performances disrupted as cast members at Disneyland Paris strike

Crowd scenes of a different kind were seen on Disneyland Paris’s Mainstreet USA on May 23, as striking cast members gathered, and daytime performances were cancelled as a result. The UNSA union announced the strike on May 16, saying those involved intended to gather at the resort from 6 am to 9 am. Workers were demanding wage increases due to inflation and the increased cost of living, the union said. According to updates from DLP Report, a resort-based news site, the striking cast members were present until around 11:30 am, around which time operations were expected to “slowly return to normal.” Credit: DLP Report via Storyful
