Police rescue coyote from New York's East River
Police in New York rescued a coyote that was “battling river currents” in the East River on Monday, April 10. The NYPD said they responded to a call of a "distressed dog” in the East River, but later realized it was a coyote. The NYPD Harbor unit rescued the animal, which was placed in the care of veterinarians.
