Man charged with illegally taking platypus on Queensland train
Queensland Police have charged a 26-year-old man with allegedly removing a platypus from its natural habitat and taking the protected animal on a train journey on Tuesday, April 4. Queensland Police said that the man, accompanied by a female, took the platypus from a Morayfield waterway before travelling by train to Caboolture, where they entered a King Street shopping centre.
