Meet Katy grandfather who took on an 11,000-mile motorcycle ride for Alzheimer’s awareness

What would it take to ride thousands of miles across North America without GPS, hotels or a support crew? Katy grandfather Scott “Sugar Bear” Brown took on the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge, riding in memory of his father and aunt, who both passed away from Alzheimer’s. He shares what it was really like on the road, why this cause is so personal and how his love of riding helped raise more than $3,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association.
