Legendary rapper and hometown icon Bun B is returning to the stage for a one-night-only performance on August 1 at Smart Financial Centre for “UGK Been Ridin’ Dirty,” celebrating 30 years of the groundbreaking project from UGK that helped define Southern hip-hop. The evening will feature a full, start-to-finish live performance of the album, with each track thoughtfully brought to life as part of a larger story—one that reflects the culture, experiences, and Houston roots that shaped it all. At the heart of it all is Bun B, not just as a performer, but as a storyteller and curator of the culture. And in a powerful tribute to his late UGK partner Pimp C, a curated lineup of special guest artists will take the stage throughout the night to perform his verses—reimagining them in real time while honoring the authenticity and spirit that made them iconic.
