HOUSTON LIFE

Cube Against Cancer & Ethan's Ohana team up to help young cancer patients

A chance encounter inside the Houston Life studio turned into a powerful mission helping pediatric cancer patients.  When speedcuber Matt Lee first wowed us with his ability to solve a Rubik’s Cube in under 10 seconds, we had no idea his visit would spark something much bigger. After meeting our colleague Brian Perry—who lost his son Ethan to cancer— Matt was inspired to help Brian spread the love of cubing to cancer patients in partnership with his non-profit Ethan's Ohana. Watch the interview to learn how that meeting inspired a growing global competition series that gives back in a meaningful way. ________________________________________________________ Houston Life on @KPRC2 is your daily dose of the best of Houston, including amazing people, delicious food, fun events, and everything in between. ▶️ Visit us online: https://www.click2houston.com/houston... 📱 Follow us on social media: Instagram: / houstonlifetv Facebook: / houstonlifetv Meet our on-air team: • Derrick Shore – Co-Host | IG: / kprc2derrick • Lauren Kelly – Correspondent | IG: / kprc2laurenkelly • Melanie Camp – Correspondent | IG: / kprc2melanie Don’t forget to like, subscribe, and tap the 🔔 so you never miss a moment of Houston Life — from inspiring local stories to the latest events and lifestyle trends.
